The only cheapest rival is 16GB - ACARD ANS-9010 (about 300Mb/s speed) - $1000-1100
Two drives (32GB solution) will need dedicated 4-ports RAID controller (about 600Mb/s speed) - $2300-2700
Four drives (64GB solution) will need dedicated 8-ports RAID controller and drives enclosure (about 1200Mb/s speed) - $4500-5200
Eight drives (128GB solution) will need dedicated 16-ports RAID controller and big drives enclosure (about 1200-1300Mb/s speed - modern RAID controllers do not support more) - $9000-10000

RIndMA Disks speed - no less than 1200 - up to 1600Mb/s speed

If used only as a dedicated RAM-drive RInDMA drive is more expencive compared to ACARD ANS-9010 based solutions (especially at 16-32GB sector), but $3500 Infiniband 24-port switch will allow to share 64-128GB version with 3-8 workstations (well adding about $900 per each for adapter and cables). An Ultra-fact shared disk array also may be installed, making the price per nod much more attractive.

Also a bit slower (1200-1300 Mb/s) 10GB Ethernet version will cost about $1000 less, making the price in par (or even less) with 64-128GB ACARD solutions.

Also when flash SSDs will become more attractive (in performance) RInDMA drive might be easily converted to utra-high productivity server - ANS-9010 will be just thrown away.
