Riser cards
All these cards may be used both as risers and as "mini-backplanes", connected to the main board by common high risers or male to female extender cable risers (see last line in each section). It is not recommended to use longer than 9" cables (5-6" is the best choice), the shorter cable, the better reliability. One riser card may be installed into some standard cases (with some backplate modification). If a "splitter" boards used as a mini-backplane, it may not have an additional expantion. Slots from active risers and bridges may be extended to 3-9" more.
